By incorporating a high powered LED, the MiNewt X2 Dual’s output more than doubles to 300 lumens on high and 184 lumens on low! The dual headlamps with independent mounting permit "stacking" light beams for flexibility, better night riding performance and adds a layer of safety and redundancy. Regulated run times also increase to 1:45 on high and 3:30 on low. Put in perspective, the MiNewt X2’s lumen output on low is greater than the first generation MiNewt on high! Optics are very important to the performance of any lighting system, that’s why a Borofloat lens and custom reflector are used in the MiNewt X2 and other NiteRider LED lighting systems. This combination delivers superior performance levels when compared to traditional glass lens or T.I.R.’s. A Gimble Style mount is used for handlebar mounting. New titanium finish with an additional clear coat for added protection, faster charge time and tabbed mounting rings for easier handlebar mounting.
