The EC90 SLX is a sub-1200 gram carbon wheelset prized for amazing climbing legs and smooth, dependable braking surface. These are the wheels that carried Cadel Evans with BMC into the yellow jersey at the Tour de France, la Maglia Rosa at the Giro d’Italia and victory at the rugged spring classic Fleche-Wallonne.

Shallow, 24-mm deep Easton carbon rims combine blisteringly-fast acceleration, precision braking, durability, and compliant ride quality. R4 SL hubs feature alloy axles, axle caps and cassette bodies to shave 36-grams of rotating weight and utilize ceramic bearings for a smooth ride. Sapim double-butted spokes and alloy nipples cut weight without sacrificing durability. Entirely hand-built and acoustically tuned in Easton’s own factory.
