The revised R-Sys Wheelset for 2011 features the Tracomp spoke technology which is designed to increase stiffness, decrease weight, and vastly improve durability. The Reinforced spokes are much more resistant to side impacts and intrusion, 30% stiffer, and 10% lighter than the previous model year. The tubular carbon spokes are clamped on each end (at both hub and rim contact points), and in that they are incompressible and non-stretchable, they can support heavy pressure and minimize stress at both hub and rim. Ultimately, these wheels accelerate faster because there is better energy transfer, and less inertia.
