Maxxis High Roller III 29x2.4 Tire Fold Tubeless WT 3CG DDThe Maxxis High Roller III 29x2.4 Tire was developed with extensive input and testing from Maxxis' World Cup athletes. This tire works well in the front and rear application and is built to take on mixed conditions at high speeds. The third gen High Roller slots into the Maxxis gravity range between the Assegai and the Shorty. The widely-spaced tread clears debris better than the Assegai and it performs better in drier conditions compared to the Shorty. The center tread uses a mid-spike design similar to the Shorty but with a lower knob height. Knobs provide deep soil bite in soft, loose, or dusty conditions while remaining stable enough to prevent squirm on hard surfaces. Cornering traction is enhanced with large, well-supported side knobs for predictable handling. The Double Down Casing uses two lightweight 120 TPI casing material with a butyl sidewall insert to increase the durability. Maxxis Tires with widths of 2.4’’ or more are have Wide Trail Casings and work best on rims with internal widths of 30-35mm. This tire has a folding bead, is tubeless ready and weighs 1,299g.
